OK, the PTT (push to talk)button on my intercom keeps breaking.
Some bast*rd at work has nicked the only good spare I had in my docket.
These things come with a multi jack plug-but only use 2 wires-I want to get rid of the jack plug & wire the PTT button direct to my radio rig, as the plugs are known weak spots.
So where the hell do I get some lengths of 2 core sheathed cable capable of carrying 7.5 volts.
AND why cant I solder properly any more?had a right job re-fixing the contacts from the now redundant jack plug.
Is this new fangled multi core solder/flux any good?
