Today I had a couple hours lessons and then the A1 test on my scooter. Can't believe I had zero minors, feels great!

Twist and Go auto. Needed to sort something before my CBT runs out, didn't see the point of getting the A2 when I'll be 21 next year and can go for the DAS. Riding manuals isn't hard, I've ridden friends manuals
The only problem is you've still got to use L plates on geared bikes, and unfortunately one of the easyiest ways to fail is improper use of the gears, I know that was what did me when I failed first time.

Yeah, L plates for a year isn't much of an issue. I have done a fair bit of riding on a manual bike, should be easier for me than a straight DAS rider/learner with luck. 
Good luck for that as well, seems to be a cute way round the CBT issue, but I hated the L plates thing.
