I think I might need new mirrors. One has slight rubbing on it, which has worn away the paint work where the canvas cover has been moving in the wind. The other has a big crack in it and a couple of chips, where its clipped the wall, when I've been taking it out of the garden. Its £50 for two new mirrors.  :O

The chips aint a problem BD,
The cracks can be repaired, but & its a big but-they need to be repaired from both sides to ensure a permanent fix-I can repair them so you cant tell-but as for how long they will stand being bashed on the garden wall....................................................
Got your ticket yet?

If its awkward for me to get out of the garden, its going to be really awkward for anyone trying to steal it.  :buttrock: I was just getting to the jedi master stage on removing the bike from the garden before it went off the road. If you would have to cover the cracks somehow, I might have a look at extending them in some way, so that I can see past my elbows.  :O The connection at the bottom of the mirror is also used to hold the fairing in place, so its really hard to find any alternatives. So maybe I'll kill two bird with one stone and extend them and get them patched up at the same time. I don't know if it'll be a goer, I'll need to look into it.

Tracey was supposed to post the letter today. I'll have to check that she did, when she gets home.
