Yeah thanks DrB. It was all tongue-in-cheek Mrs BW. I guess the whole point of 'Wobble's' (oh dear just stopped peein misel at that!) article is that its important you find out what sort of club these guys are before you make an approach so that you know what level of commitment will be expected of you, i.e. if you've bought a shiny new 10 grand bike and your sister from the MC really needs it for a while then kiss it goodbye etc etc. If this was an MCC then you'd be ok telling them to bugger off. I'm from up North so can't help thee with thi problem with who the smugglers are. However most local MCCs will probably know and its fairly easy to find out where your nearest MCC is, i.e. ask on this board and try your local dealers, mechanics and biker pub landlords yadda yadda.
