got my application form from the vehicle inspectorate today, so i can become a qualified bike MOT tester.

My dad has a small garage that does MOT's and he's sponsoring me so i can help out at weekends and earn some extra dosh!.... "But" part of my plan to take over the business when he retires, or at the very least it will give me a  useful qualification  that i could use to get a job testing bikes elsewhere!  

Iv'e just about had enough of my job now, it's good money, its local and pretty secure  but im fed up with the lack of respect i get and the almost zero promotion prospects. I love working with bikes all day and i'd rather be doing that for the next 35 years!....

so after a month or so, if anyone has any questions on MOT's i should be able to help..  :buttrock:

You ask for more, than to be doing a job that you like. Life is too short to be stuck doing something that you don't like.

My mate owns an MOT place, cars n bikes. ministry man used to be ok but the new one is shall we say economical with the truth, I witnessed something and heard what this man said, when the report came back to my mate the man had told a pack of lies nad my mate ended being penalised for doing just what the ministry man had told him to do. :sus:  :sus:  :sus:

will you be doing trike MOT's ?

yep it is in colchester womble, however only doing bikes and bikes with sidecars at the moment

that ok mate wont be needing one for the trike till 04 anyways

you live in colchester?
