rode round 2 my dads earlier 2day turned the lites on me bike. got 2 my dads went 2 turn the lites off and the switch waznt there, bugger!!!!!!!!! i know my bike's old but does she really av 2 start 2 fall apart wen were only doin 30 mph????? lol bless her

Mine did that- and I'm still trying to find a replacment switch.
I just hard wired the lights to be permanently on.
Possibly dangerous but I'll get round to bodging up a replacment one of these days.

had the glass fall out of the mirror once on a run up to cardiff airport
thought it was funny at the time.
replaced that one following week same thing happened with the other mirror

it gets worse 1 of the bolts holdin on the clocks has now vannished bloody thing gggrrrrrrr
Not an old Triumph Boneville by any chance is it?

mirrors are foreer ibrating themselves loose!!!
+ shaking around when u're tryin to look in them
But they do run well on Vauxhall Cavalier spark plugs dont they Messy

I had problems on my old XBR. The big thumper had a fair amount of vibration. It was a still a great bike though but it could never be sure it would get me from A to B and back again without something messing up. That was the main reason I changed to the VFR at the time.

i had a gs thou years ago-why do bit fall off it then? the motor was extremely smooth as i recall.
perhaps you should get ravin to tighten your nuts?

With the shakes I keep getting I think I'm going to end up with "Vibration White Finger" or whatever they call it,
Apparently a fair amount of Miners up this way came down with it because of inadequate health & Safety or something.
