I want a 600 sports bike either gsxr, zx6r 0r an r6, as there are some good deals at

I've got a zxr400 at the moment but my wife is doing her DAS

so she gets that and i get a new bike. Been looking at bikes today

Bike Mag had a comparison not long ago and all the bikes you mentioned are in there... They came very close...Not much to choose in my opinion

If you think that might help.....
I guess if you give them a call you can get a copy, if not I can look for it and post to you photo-copies

I guess it is down to personal taste.. ££££ etc grin.gif

Happy buying,,,,, mad1.gif

Im a Kawasaki fan myself and own one, I have in the past owned Suzuki's and
Hondas but never a Yamaha, guess cos a few of my mate some time ago threw
a conrod through the block on the FJ series but I would have thought by now its
a whole lot different.

My advice on buying is to buy what you like, ride them all if you're not sure and
then decide which feels best for you, my best tip is does it feel comfortable to ride
think about a three hundred mile trip, would it be ideal for that, you may say now
'nah I'll never do it' and one fine day you'll be doing just that, possibly more.
Magazines are just that, dont take to heart what they print.

Cheers

Thanks for the advice chris

at the end of the day i'll try and get demo's on each bike to see which one suits

to be honest though i've got my heart set on the suzuki

but its good to hear other peoples opinions

Well I`m a bit bias cosI`ve got a K1 GSX-R600 and love it!

I had the same dilema you have now when I bought mine. This is what made me stick with the Gixxer

1, The ZX6 is VERY tarck focused and not very comfy on the road. The extra 36cc (636cc) hike it over into the higher tax bracket for road fund licence as well plus I recon it would hike teh insurance a little as well.

2, The R6 is VERY skinny compared to the Gixxer It felt too narrow for me. I didn`t like the clocks on em either.

3, The GSXR. It`s Phat, wide, when cranked over and hanging of you can hug the tank with your arm. The induction roar is awsome. The brakes on the erlier ones pre radial (<04 I think) aren`t as good as they could be. they are far from rubbish, just that the competition`s are better. The GSXR makes a fantastic track tool out of the box )I`ve done Brands Indy 3 times and Silverstone once) And with some inexpensive tweeking can go even better

Well that`s my pennies worth any way laughcont.gif

Hope thats of some help
