Does anyone know if it is possible 2 attach a 4-stroke can to a 2-stroke bike!?
If so, is it advisable; does it bugger up or sound like a bag of w@nk?!
cheers

Hi Samps,

Not sure. I'd worry about the performance, which might take a hit. Two strokes tend to use expansion chambers but the four strokes are just a pipes with a silencer on the end. Maybe it could much up the gas flow from a two stroke engine.

It might be fine though but not sure.

What Dave said, don't do it. Here's why .........

I second what Fastfitter said, 2 strokes must have back pressure in the exhaust to work properly, without it power can be down by up to 50% of what is normal. With a properly designed expansion pipe you can effectively supercharge your bike from the standard gear and give as much as 25% more power. The answer is always get a pipe that is designed for your engine, don't use a 4 stroke Can.

what are you fighting it to? you're not that noisy t**t that runs up and down my street on the rs250 without the silencer on are you?
best bet would be a set of micron spannies if you ask me. devil1.gif

Nice try Samps!

If you want a bike that sounds like a 4 stroke, you'll have to get a 4 stroke!
