I used to live in West london rode a XS1100 Yam garaged no sercurity devices no NCB TPF&T £120.

I was with a company called CIA they advertise in BSH give them a go BD

Sounds a bit harsh that BD.
I bet if you told them you lived at the drovers, they would pay you grin.gif  :p  :D
Try Saxon insurance-usually get a good quote from them, though Nash beat them this time.

Crikey!  The insurance on my zedzedar11 was only £101 tpf&t.  thats 35 year old rider, no security devices and parked off road, 5 years ncb, value about £2500.  EB just told me his was £180 tpf&t, svs650, value £3000(ish), no security devices and garaged, 29 year old with 2 years ncb.

Is it the area you live in?

im with the AA and i believe he's with Carole Nash

Every morning , I await the arrival of the postman with growing fear. Not because of brown envelopes or the wife's visa bill. I have learned, that there is nothing I can do about those and the only answer, would be divorce.

No, the problem is that my insurance is due for renewal next month.   I can only wait and see what quote will damage the floor boards, as it plummets from the letterbox.

I'll be up to 4 years NCB this year. Clean license and a thirteen year old bike. Still managed to cost me over £370 for TPFT last year.

Its the waiting that's the problem.. sad1.gif

insurance is a necessary evil unfortunately.  Im paying £80 for the gippo whichisn't too bad.  I have shopped around and found that the AA just cant be beaten - for me at least.  i believe they were more than carole nash when EB renewed.  there's no linearity though, none at all so a company may be the cheapest for me but more expensive for someone else with similar risk factors.  Weird.
You must have loads of Glesga Neds knocking about skanking bikes and pushing up the premiums.

I'm with Carole Nash as well. They were the cheapest I could find.

The area ain't great but it ain't the worst either. The car is worth more than the bike and is £300 fully comp.

The bike is parked off road but it isn't garaged. I will have to do a bit more searching this year by the sound of things, either that or go back to the old XBR.   sad1.gif

I suppose I'd better.

I could just keep it in here though, so the rest don't notice.   eyebrow.gif
