That depends on the stock shock. The 748 has pretty nice suspension from the factory, and the rear shock on the Blackbird is also decent (although it lacks adjustment and wears out too fast). The stock shock on my old Divvie was a bit of a poor show though!

The remote preload is the one thing I'd really consider an aftermarket shock for, personally speaking. Would be handy for the Blackbird once I load up the panniers. Not cheap though :(

Looks a bit tasty though - you'd best got out and give it a spin!

Finally managed to have a quick blast on her at the weekend cool2.gif

I have to say I honestly can't believe how I've managed to get on without it ooh2.gif ooh2.gif ooh2.gif

Now it could just be down to my old one being slightly tired, or just poorly adjusted, but my word there is renewed confidence from the rear ooh2.gif
