i bought some new bar-end weights to replace a scratched set, however these ones sit further out than my old ones...
i had previously trimmed the rubber grips of my Oxford heated grips to fit my old bar-ends, so now i have a ~1cm gap between the end of the grip, and the beginning of the bar-end weight.

Any suggestions about how to rectify this other than buying a new set of grips?
it looks a bit odd...

Space it with a off cut from an old set of grips?

hmmm, i don't have any old sets to use... wonder if i can find a cheap set to hack up.

or maybe a metal/plastic spacer or some sort?
