Ok well I have a red light on the clock/speedo of my GSXR 600 K2 that has been on since this morning.

It show oil sysmbol/ temp sysmbol and FL also temp gauge on speedo changes between temp and FL every few seconds.

Oil and coolant levels are fine, manual says to check these as fault but all ok

Any ideas??? anyone please verysad.gif

Is it one of these new fangled fuel injection self-diagnosing things? A red light is usually oil pressure warning - i.e. there is none. Do not run the motor until you've got some expert advice.

Another great idea from Sucksuki. I've lost count how many times Gixxer owners have to go into the dealer's and get the FI re set. laughcont.gif

I have fixed it

due to cold weather fuel injection system had iced a bit, warmer and with STP fuel injector treatment and all ok

FI reset is normally worse than just cold

I can't be doing with this modern trend of technology for the sake of it.

I've got a neutral light, bit superfluous really, a fuel warning light as well as a reserve on the tap so why? and an oil pressure light. If that comes on at speed then the engine's toast by the time you've seen it, checked traffic and whipped the clutch in and killed the ignition. Wouldn't like to be without it though for some reason rolleyes.gif
