Anyhoo, i got it off some itallian website and used the google translator, always a laugh, but read this !

The posterior suspension of the CBF500 makes to comprise how much has been important, with regard to, the most recent technologies developed from Honda on own the sport motion. The forcellone in steel to section differentiated from 35 x 75 milimeter supplies one advanced rigidities and a control regarding the previous unit from 30 x 50 milimeter.
And the same one can dirsi for the?mono? posterior, anch?esso derived from the unit mounted on Hornet 600, with a new shock-absorber to double room H.M.A.S. (similar to what it already equips numerous superportive Honda).

Exact same frame as the cb600f just a smaller engine. Only difference being twin discs front, zorst and obviously the engine. Was at the NEC in November.
Got to keep my eyes from wanting a new bike for nother 2 yrs. Saying that the Aprillia Tuono looks my cup of tea. birthday.gif Mally 2005

Tuono means thunder in itallian apparently and i for one would have preferred to see it badged so for uk markets. Still, it looks a touch messy for me although by all accoounts its a stunning machine and would i have one if i could afford it/ Oh yeah........................ buttrock.gif

BUT! Whats the point of this???

Looks like a new hornet but is apparently even more detuned to produce about 75 horsies ( so prolly 60 -ish at the back wheel). Yeah, so it makes it easy to drive but the hornet does that already with a bit more zing if required, so whats the point? ( its also twenty kilos heavier than the hornet so the loss of a few ponies has even more detrimental effect). Google translator has this to say....

May your nightime working shift drag on longer than you think.

Couple of years yet to go they may have a 600 version which will do me.

Barring that Yamaha could ask them if they can use that swing-arm.

Cheers MAlly
