The OU course that I'm on has a course dvd which has interactive animations as well as a dvd and you can't just play it on a dvd player, it's got to be viewed on a pc. I tried installing it at home and when you go to play the video it won't start. I tried it at work and the dvd worked fine. If I bugger around and enter run.exe on the F drive it will occasionally run, about one out of 6 times,and if it runs I can access all parts of the dvd but when I turn it off again it won't play again. I installed Java runtime environment and Flash player as that's what the installation instructions tell me to use. Any ideas? I know zero about computers so keep any replies simple please.

Sorry Wilf, no help - I was just going to say Yes I do have those problems, no matter what DVD reading stuff I've tried it just wont <grrr>
