Picked up the CBR 600 today (and bloody heavy they are when you are pushing a distance!!).

Hopefully by the spring it will look like a new bike grin.gif

Got it for £350 in the end so I reckon its a bargain (fairings are included but not in pics, tatty but should be OK with a bit of a spray).

I look forward to the progress reports and pictures but if you wanted heavy you should have bought a Harley. lbhh.gif hello.gif

Yes, I thought it was around a '96-'97 model but turns out its an '89.

They all look the same without the fairings on eyebrow.gif

Well, its a bit quiet in here at the moment so thought I would give an update on this.

Here is how it looked yesterday after a day and a half with a drill and a wire brush attachment grin.gif

All the metalwork is back from the powdercoaters now so should have a slightly more impressive update in the next week or so.

Aye - looking very nice indeed. I guess I'll have to have the covers off the Blackbird soon enough, so I can do some cleaning up underneath. I might buy myself a proper horn to put in it, since I'll have it in bits anyway.
