Aha - so you finally went for the 400.

As you know, I really like them. My other half's tri-arm was a hoot.
Tom
Great looking bike!! beer.gif

Thanks Tom grin.gif
I went out to whitby the other weekend and decided at the end of that ride i had had enough of fighting with the 7, sold that on the Thursday and picked the 400 up on the sunday. I'm just getting use to having to rev it more, and remember im not on the 7 lbhh.gif

There's a lot to be said for a smaller bike. Easier to chuck about, and easier on the fuel for a start. But the fun thing is being able to carry the speed through the corners and wring it's neck. Looks like a lovely machine. Hope it's a blast!

Excelent, hope you gell with it really soon, I know the confidence my little bike gave me that if my foot ever slipped when I'd stopped holding it up was never any hassle. I would love a bike with the Bandits power but much lighter.

Enjoy :-)

Got it from skipton way, so had a good ride home on him, then yesterday we went to scarborough calling of at fridaythorpe, i was better on the way back, it was taking me a while to get my head around not been on the 7, and getting use to the higher revs, my corners were alot faster and smoother, stopping is sorted, seeing as i can get my feet down i dont even think about that any more. I love the way he handles, and can see me having some right fun on it grin.gif
Dont get my wrong, i loved the 7 but 13 months down the line i was still finding it hard to move her about, i had arranged for a lowering kit to be fitted to her, but that would have still left me with the weight issue, so i decided to sell, and managed to get more for her than i paid for her grin.gif

Result!

What more could you ask for?

Hope you have many happy miles together thumbsup2.gif

Well i'm loving the bike, its nice to not worry about having to park it, i can get it in any where grin.gif .
Defiler you was right about the corners, they are now smoother and faster, i do get left behind on the straights abit, but soon catch up on the bends. lbhh.gif

I honestly reckon that anyone who rides bikes who hasn't ridden a CBR400RR (oh, ok, or a VFR400R/RVF400R) has a huge hole in their experience. They are outstanding little bikes.

Hoho!

Seriously though, if you(*) haven't ridden one of them, you really don't know what you're missing. They really are that good. The VFR is a miniature RC30, but without the silly gearing and paranoia inducing cost.

(*) By "you" I mean "you" as in the collective audience, rather than "you" personally.

Oh, you know what I mean.
