I have offered him £900 and he has accepted!

Shall I go for it??

Personally I wouldn't touch it. They only bought it a month ago, I know circumstances can change, but in a month?? I would be inclined to think that they bought it, realised they had been stung, and are trying to shift it on quick...

Up to you though :)

But if you look through the rest of their feedback, they sell a lot of bikes/spares suggesting they buy things in and sell them on hoping to make a bit of profit.

However, they do seem to have a few disgruntled buyers.

Choice is with you at the end of the day. Can you get to view the bike (or know someone who can?).

Have you actually seen it and heard it run?

If not, can you afford to simply throw 900 quid down the khazi?

If you can, no problem, fine, go for it.

If not, then I think it's a risk. If you're going to buy a vehicle unseen then you need to be happy to simply write it off as a total loss if need be. For all you know the change in circumstances could be that it's started blowing blue smoke.

OTOH, it could be very tidy and an eccellent buy. But you can't tell without seeing the bike and seeing and hearing it running. Your choice.

Are we looking at the same feedback profile? however I definately would not buy until I or some one I know had heard it running at least.

Personally with out seeing it and hearing it run i wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

Also noticed the bikes your looking at mostly have aftermarket cans on them. I would want the original exhaust as well or you may find your self stuffed come MOT time.

Kworn, I dont know how old you are but take it from an old fart like myself, there are thousands of good honest bikes out there to buy. I used to be the same, the money just burns a hole in your pocket your so desperate to buy a bike. Take your time, examine each bike carefully and only buy when you are satisfied that it is as it says it is. Really in order to do this there is no real alternative than go and have look and listen. or as second best get someone to go for you, it pays in the end mate.
