Hi there =)
I joined the forum a few days ago but have just been lurking so far wink1.gif .
I'm from swansea (any other swansea people here?)and up until yesterday was riding an sv650s, I'm now riding a yamaha YZF750R which i'm in love with.
Be nice to hear stories of them if anyone has any experience with them wink1.gif .
Here are some pics, haven't got any of me riding it yet.

750 Genny! Not seen one of those for a long time, and that looks really nice!

(Last one I saw had been laboriously tracked down by a chap near Birmingham. Last unregistered 750 Genesis in the UK. It'd been lying in a shop for about 4 years and he snapped it up. Then he threw it down the road end over end. Hadn't even been run in, and it was mangled. He was gutted.)

Hi Nicola hello.gif

That is a very tidy looking bike... enjoy smile1.gif

I don't know if we do have anybody from Swansea, but TeeBird & BornAgain are up the road a bit near Newcastle Emlyn.

Welcome Nicola!

I remember falling in love with one of those way back when I was a beginner riding a 100cc 2-stroke! I still love the look of those older-style paint jobs!

Yea it a lovely bike to ride, I do have to muscle it around a lot more than my SV when it comes to bends but in a good way grin.gif .
It half scares and exhilarates me when I feel the amount of power brewing blush21.gif but I'll get used to it, tis the reason I bought it!
Here's some pics I took up storey arms yesterday with my OH on his TL.
Incidentally he actually let me ride his TL yesterday where as he wouldn't before, maybe he trusts me more after seeing me ride the 750?
Anyway the funny part of the story is I couldn't even touch the floor with my feet so we had to take the TLs seat off, this made it horrific to ride.
My knees were up by my ears and because I was so low down I had to reach up for the handlebars and not down, so it was like riding a cruise sports bike cross!
Never ever again! laughcont.gif

Anyway onto pics! cool2.gif

Hi Nicola and welcome to the forum.

Egg & bacon is right - we are fairly close - between Newcastle Emlyn and Llandysul - about 40 miles from Swansea.

Hi Nicola
Welcome to the forum hello.gif Lovely looking bike, very colourful. Have you been riding for years? great to see another female joining the forum. Hope you and the OH will be able to get to Pewsey in Wiltshire (May/June) or Squires Cafe Nr Leeds (next weekend) next year. Me and Bran really enjoy meeting up with other people on here, also nice to see some different faces. grin.gif

hia bornagain that's nice to know there someone close by, I'm looking for people to ride with when my oh is in work (we work opposite shifts at times).
so if you ever want to meet up for a ride I'd appreciate it =).
Silverlady, yea I've been riding for just over 3 years now.
Had a cg125 for a year, then a 400superfour but crashed it, then had an sv650s as it coped with the 33bhp restriction better than the inline 4 had.
Then I bought the YZF a few days ago as my restriction ran out in june.
Am keeping the sv though as I do love it, am giving it to my dad so if I ever want it back it's there and I'll know it's been maintained and looked after smile1.gif.

Thanks for all the comments, I must say I am falling in love with the bike, think my oh has some competition wink1.gif.

I'd love to go on different ride outs and such just have to get my confidence up.
