does anyone one here ride a chop or rat bike , do you have probs getting insurance with the modified bike

Ace has modified a lot of his bikes,he'd be the man to speak to.
I'm bored with my Gpz750 and am toying with the idea of changing it around a bit. That's if I can get it to work in the first place.

my Z650 chop was insured through Carole nash-as a chop, i didnt have any probs. look through BSH & the like, there are bound to be "specialist" insurers advertising in there.

Try Bikesure - they're pretty good insuring custom stuff.
With Carole Nash, watch out for the excess - they wanted something like £400 on my trike, that's when I changed to Bikesure.
