There are some very good sealants on the market just add them to the radiator when cold and start up to get it warm, I would ensure it is not a hose or connection first though. hello.gif

If your really desperate i seen on myth busters that cracking an egg into the radiator does actually stop leaks. Dont know how long for tho.

But that messes up the eggsaust!

Just sent for a bottle of k-seal supposed to be really good hope it is as good as i have heard.

Bad luck Branman.

I recently had a leak in my Trumpet rad too.

It took about 2 months before I got it back repaired. veryangry.gif

But on the plus side it only cost 55 quid! grin.gif

There are loads of rad repair specialists about..no need to spend mega bucks getting a new one!

Yes it works. It cooks the egg, and the chunks block small perforations in the radiator.

The question is, do you want small chunks of egg floating around in your coolant? It really is a get-you-home emergency option. Better off with a bottle of Radweld, and that's pretty nasty too!

Have you got the rad fixed? are you coming to Squires on the Triumph or the Fazer?

I have put k-seal in the rad and it seems to have worked so i will be coming on the triumph especially as i have just put a roadster seat on it for the journey lbhh.gif
