Anyone use one of those cramp busters you position on your throttle grip?
Stephs getting quite a bit of thumb pain after our round Wales trip and wondered if this would be of any use for long distance riding?
Cheers.

I find them awkward and have a tendancy to get in the way, Bobbi (Bikergran) finds it invaluable and a real help. They are cheap enough so try it and see.

If I can find it, I'll send you the one I tried (couldn't get on with it)

I didnt really like the one I got. As Biker835 says, I also found it to get in the way. Not as good as I though it would be.
So I just got a more powerful bike and then cruising is a much more relaxed affair, a gentle grip in a constant position.

I set mine for round town/road junction sort of speeds cos that's when you do most opening and closing of the throttle. That's what does for my hand on a long trip. At higher speeds it doesn't get in the way but I find that at higher speeds it's easy to hold the throttle qite lightly, it all that twisting the wrist/hand that makes it hurt. I use one on the clutch side as well, just to rest my hand on.

Sounds like my Garage. I dropped something I was polishing. Despite my best efforts and turning the place upside down several times. Can I find It? Can I bolloks!!!.It was one of a matched pair I was making so I ended up having to make a new pair.Sods Law says as soon as I made a new pair I'd find the original, but NO months later It still hasn't turned up. If any Scientist Doubts the existence of a black hole. Send them to my Garage.

I have experienced a similar phenomenon known as "fridge suck"... when you finally move the fridge it's amazing what's under there!

I use it on my automatic ... for long rides only.
Yes I agree it can get in the way but you soon pull it off. Only for long rides on Mway.. i.e. 200mile run..
For A roads etc.. you dont really want it it gets in the way.
