I have a GSX750es and I was wondering if anyone had owned one, I don't seem to get much travel on the front forks less than 2 inches and that's on the softer setting, they just seem mentally hard but I'm comparing it to the 3 FZR's I had before
On decent A roads it handles quite well considering its age but on the more bumpy B roads its very harsh on the old wrists but doesn't seem to misbehave that much.
Apart from a short ride on a GPZ750 years ago this is the first bike I've owned with it, I don't get any issues with the braking
Anyway was the front end usually that hard?
Egg 'n' Bacon
Have they always been like that?

Pass lol
I've only ridden it twice even though I've owned it over a year (long story) the bike was owned by the last owner from new
Maybe something has stuck on the anti dive while its been stood
Fourtoes
My gpz 550 had the antidive system, cant say I even noticed it Nige. Not much help to you, the forks just had the same play as the forks on the zephyr.

Thanks smile1.gif I must admit there was no massive difference when I rode the GPZ750, I didn't have to change my riding style or anything

I think I might wipe the wheel out n see if one side has more travel than the other, It could be just me, but the EXUP had Ohlins front springs and rear shock and no where near as hard up front

I had a GSX1100ES with anti dive fir a few years never seemed hard in fact tbh most used to blank it off and re spring oil etc.

I think its just me and the particular road I went down has deteriorated a lot over the last year or so blush21.gif its a lot nicer on twisty stuff than the EXUP ever was
I'm not sure if I'd do away with the anti dive, I'm not the kind of rider who needs to be able to nail the front end to the ground on ever corner, up to now I've only braked hard once and that was to see if it worked lol
