Hey there folks,

Moving to a flat where parking space comes at a premium, and although not the cheapest to service etc. I'm pretty set on a Monster. Willing to consider anything, not too bothered about it being mint and looking for as reasonable a price as possible, but tempted to go post '00 to try and avoid electrical issues.

Just stopped by on the off chance that anyone knew of any going begging in the area, or could recommend a good place to look. I'm keeping an eye on the usual MCN, UKbike, Biketrader and Ebay, unfortunately lack of transport is narrowing my search options.

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Don't have one, and don't know anyone selling one, but bear in mind that being a twin the 600 is a bit weak compared to the 4-cylinder 600s. You might be better off with a Monster 750 - same Desmoduo engine, so whilst dealer servicing is a bit steep, home servicing shouldn't be too tricky if you have the time. And it'll make much more power. You'll probably find them much easier to come by too.

Or just go for the S4 and save yourself all that money on front tyres lbhh.gif

Thanks for the advice, it'll be my first big bike but I guess it makes sense to have the extra there and not need it, than need it and not have it grin.gif

There's not a great difference in the price or the insurance either, so it's definately something I'll keep in mind,

Cheers
