Anyone got any recommendations for a good(ish) battery optimiser that won't cost the earth? If possible I'd like to get one of the ones that come with a permanent mount so I don't have to keep taking my seat off.

Most of the ones I can find are about £60, though there are a few in the £40 range.

Do they get any less than that? I finish at work here in 2 weeks time, so am trying to save pennies wherever possible!

I did "one last google", and found an Oxford Oximiser for £28.49 delivered.

Shame about that... LIDL and ALDI are ok too. Usually around the tenner mark and LIDL have bike stuff in just now.

Oh well.

The Oximiser arrived the other day, and I left the bike charging for a couple of days - the battery is now in tip top condition, and waiting for me to find some time to get on the bike!

It's bloody handy having the permanenet lead option - have it routed to under my seat cowl, so that I can put the external wire through the helmet slot and have everything nice and secure and dry.
