My new place will not have power in the garage, its a row of lock-ups and mine is nowhere near enough to run an extension.
Can anyone recommend a reasonable priced generator that's not too loud. Its a quiet area and I don't want to annoy the neighbours too much.

One night the other week I was up in the wee hours and was doing the old telly flick, like you do, and happened to flick to QVC they had a petrol powered generator that had 3 pin sockets in it for all electrical appliances, it runs about 6 hours on a couple of litres of petrol.
