Im after a decent set of waterproof (ideally goretex textiles)
after looking around for a while i decided on the hein gerike trickyII trousers for £250.

went in to the store to try some on only to find out that they seem to be made for really narrow legs... i guess my legs are bigger than average

i went up to a size 54 which seemed to fit my ok but the knee armor was sitting on my shins! being 5'5'' this is where i have the problem. Asked the guy in store if they had anything else but all he could recomend was draggin jeans which i already have.

I really need something all weather and waterproof as i need to commute everyday on the bike.
at the moment im using over trousers with the jeans but really want to just use textiles as ill be more protected and warmer

Can anyone recomend a place or brand that do textiles for short but big legs?

I've got a pair of all-seasons trousers from J&S that are pretty baggy.

Without the liner they would be pretty damn big.

Hein gerike in Doncaster have a altering service ask to see if yours do?,they ususaly appoint a seemstress that is up to thier satifaction and stitch the correct stitches. hope it helps..

I go my first pair of textiles from j&s about four years ago which where quite loose fitting... the thing was they didnt last long and were crap for keeping the water out.... i think i paid 90 quid for them they started falling aparts after about 2 yrs.
so this time around i want to get something a bit better that will last longer

I have a simmilar problem and have had to take the liner out my trousers if I want to ever have children..

Ok - I really need to get back to the gym if I dont want freezing legs

my problem is a result of the going to the gym!
