Full Version: Link pipe seal/collet???

Just fitted a new Beowulf silencer and link pipe to my CB600. Got it all up and running (sounds awesome grin.gif ) and then found that the joint at the link pipe is blowing a bit. Looking at the standard exhaust i just replaced, it seems to have a collet inside. Ive searched ebay looking for one but cant find anything, i measured it and its approx 46mm - 44mm (does that sound right?) It's proabably something i could easily get machined somewhere locally but was wondering if anyone new a place i can just order online. Google just has me running round in circles.

Cheers

Go to http://fiche.ronayers.com/ and look up the model and year, they're in the fiches under 'muffler'. Any Honda dealer worth his salt should be able to get one pdq

Hi fastfitter, yes thats the item i need (#5)

Not too clued up on stuff so wasnt exactly sure what i needed. I'll take a trip down to our Honda dealer this week and get it sorted. I'd better print that diagram to bring with me, they seem to be even more clueless about bikes here than me lbhh.gif

Cheers

Edit: With your help ff i just bought that gasket on ebay, used the part number for a search and came up with -
Honda Genuine Exhaust Gasket 18391-ML0-003
150394023687 - Price: £7.95
Quantity:1
Free P&P

Searched loads of pages earlier too with no luck (but to be fair i was searching for a seal lbhh.gif )

Thankyou bowdown.gif
