Can't actually ride it yet as I’ve not passed my test but got it for very little money and think I got a real bargain. 2 owners from new, the first was a local copper and the second was an old man that bought it for the occasional trip out with his son. Full service history with it and it's quite funny that when the old guy bought it from the copper in 2002 he had it serviced by our local Honda dealer and it had 5038 miles on the clock. I just bought it off him around 3 weeks ago and see it was serviced a week before I got it with 6387miles on the clock, even got a new set of tyres fitted
Since I’ve had it I’ve added some crash bungs and a small tinted visor/fly screen (although I’m told I’ve fitted the fly swatter on the wrong end
) I'd like to change the exhaust on it, not the whole thing, possibly just silencer and link pipe. Anyone recommend something? I’ve found a few on eBay shops that seem quite cheap, a FUEL one for around £115+p&p and also a Beowulf that’s £119+p&p, there's other similar priced ones too but as I’ve never had anything over a 125cc before and never actually 'tinkered' with bikes only rode them, I’m unsure what to do. Maybe not everyone's cuppa changing a perfectly good exhaust just cos it sounds like a hairdryer but I like a bit of noise!
