I've only done Suzuki ones which aren't too bad - you can slip the gearchange shaft out of the clutch side (after removing the clutch cover) and then firtle the old seal out of it's hole and press the new one in.

Honda's gearchange mechanisms are usually a bit more complex so it's a case of taking things off to see what's there.

You'll find the part number and exploded diagrams at www.ronayers.com - just search through Honda/Year/Model. I think the gearshaft oil seal is shown on the crankcase drawing.
