After checking over my wiring, changing fuses and relays do you know why my bike croaked?
It's quite simple really.


















Some complete had removed a couple of fuses!
The sidepanels have been off the bike for a while to spray them and the fusepanel is exposed. I could see that there was a space for a couple of fuses but I thought they must be spare. Nope, some git has nicked them!
I missed Squires over a couple of fuses!

Oh FFS. That is really gutting.

B@st@rds!! Fuses are so cheap I can't believe someone could stoop so low. Maybe it was kids messing?

That's what I reckon.
I work for a charity for kids with special needs and I reckon that someone just thought the coloured fuses looked nice and took a couple.

That's pretty funny in its own way, though I'll bet it's pretty annoying for you. I also don't imagine someone would do it maliciously (though I'm often surprised by some of the things people think are "funny").

Oh yeah. Two examples immediately sprint mind - one friend of mine went to start his bike outside a pub to discover that someone had turned the idle speed to mximum, so it was idling at about 5K

Another set off from a party and at the exit from the field discovered someone had wound the steering damper up to maximum and he couldn't turn.

Yeah, they're really funny.

f***ing hell, some people can really endanger someones life just cause they think its funny!
i think ille make a habit of checking the above before i even turn the engine on!
