Went to the dump today to get rid of some rubbish, so we thought we'd hgave a look at the re-usable stuff they spread out for folks to buy, and as we walked across (slowly cos of my leg) Mike said "I think there's a motorbike seat there"
Just before we got there another bloke picked it up. Dunno what it was doing down the dump, it looked like it had never been used - it also looked like it would fit my 400/4! But the bloke wouldn't let me have it, altho it was obvious he didn't want it for a bike cos when I said "I wonder what it is?" he said "It looks like a motorbike seat" - any biker would have known what I meant and speculated on what bike it would fit.
Anyway he insisted he saw it first, and said he would 'see what they wanted for it' - but he put it straight in his car and I don't believe he paid for it at all! I bet it'll be in the Freeads next week for some extortionate price!
