The black engine casings on the VFR have a few scratches. Can these be recoated in some way or do you just get out a can of the heat proof paint.

I wouldn't mind doing them in gold.

powder coating is OK providing the casings dont get too hot
I've just had a set of downpipes & the link pipe coated-they be going on the zzr soon-i'll let you know how it goes.my pet blasting co are experimenting with different colours-gold is quite expensive davie- but heat resistant in a can will do the job-just lots of fine coats rather than one thick one.
