I could save for a while, but , the CB900 needs to come off the road as it is getting wrecked in the winter weather, and i need to look at the cam chain. So i dont want to be hanging around too long as i want to ride.
So to my choices:
Yamaha FJ1100/1200: I love the old aircooled lumps, they are strong, reliable and powerful. The FJ can be modified quite easly, R1 front end, Thunder arris back end etc, but the avaerage price for a decent one is around £1200-£1800 so i am about £400 short, unles i find an older or tatty model..... like this one
Older FJ1200 on ebay
Kawasaki GPZ1000rx, Big Powerful fast skitish twitchy old muscle, but i'd love one. I didnt consider this bike until i found this...
Grunt... uugg ... old muscle...!
I could find one in reasonable condition within my price range, but they are known to be a tad tempramental, both in reliability and handling.
BMW K100, ok so i know i have one for sale, but that is only coz i cant fix it coz me back hurts. I would still like to build and run a beemer streetfighter.
Honda CBX750F, what a great 750, i had one of these and a GPZ750R at the same time, the CBX has more BHP than the GPZ and boy does it go well, the ride is great, i have not riden a Fazer, but i think the ride would be so similar (possition, handeling etc) that it could almost be a predecesor to it. I have been offered one for £800 and i found this one..
CBX750F
But it is a smaller engine, i realy would like some thing with a big as you like engine.... !
Suzuki GSX1100EFE, the ultimate muscle streetfighter bike
GSX1100EFE
but i dont hold out much hope of it staying in my grasp.
So watcha recon.... ? You all know that i will do sumut totaly impulsive any way, i am not asking for definate answers coz i will do what feels right at the time, thats what bikers do, it might not be the right choice, but we do it any way.
I am just curious to see what you lot would do and any opinions you might have.
Any way i have never used this poll thingy so i thought id see what it is all about....
