Now, what function would this fulfil and how would I fit it? wwww.gif

Oh, OK Zombie, I've added a direct picture thing as well swivel.gif

its SUPPOSED to help stiffen up the front forks so they dont "twist" under cornering/acceleration forces-is there some bits missing in the pic or does it just bolt to the front mudguard? (in which case its about as much use as a chocolate fireguard)

in the days of wimpish spindly fork legs a brace was a positive godsend , but these days i dont think you'd notice much improvement on the bandy-could be wrong mind.
& if you think it looks nice then it wont do any harm-but do you trust yourself not to drill through the front tyre whilst fitting it?wwww.gif

I dont reckon it'd do much either as DP says. But it does look nicely made so fitting it as a cosmetic touch would look good mate. Oh and yes, it does appear to be the type that sits on top of the mudguard.

blandy just perleeeese remove the mudguard 1st or drop the wheel out b4 you go anywhere near it with an electric drill-we know what you're like wwww.gif wwww.gif wwww.gif

can't deny it looks nice enough, i fitted a fork brace to my x7 and the difference in cornering was astounding, but then again the forks on an x7 were like the legs of a stick insect..

It looks similar to the standard one on the ArrEff. That bolts to lugs cast on each fork slider, and then the mudguard bolts to the brace so it does what it says on the tin laughcont.gif

I fitted one to the old GS that just used two split clamps around the top of the sliders where the seals sit. Rode up the street, braked, the forks dipped ....... and didn't come back up again Oo1.gif I'd over-tightened it blush21.gif

I love em.. they add a nice touch to an otherwise bland area (Hahaha.. bland.. blandwitt... lbhh.gif oh never mind), they also stiffen up the front end aparently, but the also look cool, and they sort out the wibley wobley chop stick forks of the 70's/80's/90's/00's, and they look cool... and ...

Ok.. i'll sit down.... !
