COUNT ME IN LIISA!
how about it?  disabled rider on the worlds sexiest bike giving real world opinions?  Ok im excited now!

twenty years experience, list of owned bikes too long list of ridden bikes even longer.  Bob and Keith at kliktronic could do a temporary install and ill ride it and give you one scorching review!

lets get it going Liisa - this is gonna be fantastic!

ok real world time.  Ive come to accept that bike mags dont like people like me.  i dont know why but maybe its reminding readers of our vulnerabillity as motorcyclists.  We only seem to turn up in mags as novelty items - like the  'and finally...'   items on the news.  Shame really.  eight years ago I was the same as you - well, i wasnt gorgeous and i wasnt a lady but you get the idea!  And now I have one leg.

Seriously I doubt you'd let Bob and keith muck about with the ZX10  - it being so new and all that but maybe you will?  Who knows!

Valentines day soon Liisa, Ill be expecting a card!

All the best wayne.  AKA zombie   http://www.ukbikeforum.co.uk

Nice try Zombie. buttrock.gif .. hope it goes through and you get to play... but RIDE magazine? I suspect not. If they do let you play I might even buy another copy after I boycotted it for being boring and predictable. bum.gif

nice piece bowdown.gif and wouldn't it be good if they did? smile1.gif

Yeah good ole liisa mails me periodically,
last time it was for the "lets teach the riders how to ride" feature, like are you a novice or expert etc etc.

i didnt get the gig, the more cynical amongst you might agree i just might have been as, if not more qualified than their resident expert laughcont.gif laughcont.gif laughcont.gif

i've been trying to get them to do an article on NAM for bloody ages-250 strong group, dedicated to safer riding & helping the biking population of the North East, are they interested?
are they buggery
ZOMB!E
They did an article this month on bike security - really promising. they set up owners without their knowledge and then skanked their bikes while the lovely Liisa was in the house with the owner. Read the articel and guess what - they nicked bikes I could have waltzed off with!
ZOMB!E
I thought it would be like all alarmed bikes with ground anchors and everything but they nicked bikes that werent even locked! Big surprise they were easy to nick! wasted opportunity if you ask me.
BikerGran
They did an article some time last year (maybe the year before) about nicking bikes that were locked and alarmed. They even nicked one from outside a Police Station! No problem, no-one took a blind bit of notice as they shoved the bike in the van with the alarm going off!

Just proves you need to lock it to something solid.
ima
The alarmed bike being stolen is an age old and sad problem and one that will not go away, as more and more alarms hit the market we are all too ferquently assailed with the sound of alarms going off to the point where we get utterly p**ssed off with the sound of them.
chain it to something soild that's the only real answer, make it hard for them to nick it, park somethiong big and unmoveable in front of it.
alternatively lock all convicted bike thieves up and chuck away the key.

Back on topic,
it's a shame that mags like ride and bike etc don't look at things from another perspective instead of the power ranger element..
