As of Friday i will be riding a Honda cbr 125. I have helemt and leather gloves. What sort of gear (Jackets/Trouser) would any one recommend. i dont want to go leather at the moment because of the weather. I just want something that looks casual and is all weather. Also can anyone recommend appropriate footwear ?

Many thanks

Get yourself some boots, trousers and Jacket.

Go to your local bike shop and try some things on. Thats the best bet.

That's proper motorcycling boots, trousers and jacket! And the best ones to get are the ones that fit you properly. They don't have to be the expensive ones.

Textile clothing is cool to look at, warm to wear, and waterproof, just the job! If you did go for leather you'd have to buy waterproofs to wear over the top. Get waterproof boots and gloves otherwise you'll be riding with freezer bags inside your boots and frozen hands unless you wear Marigolds inside the gloves!

Enjoy!
