Oh I dunno - it doesn't look too bad, if it goes for a song it would be an interesting project!
It's a Superdream basically though I don't know much about the auto bit, would prolly need a complete strip down. of course nothing's working if it's been stood for 9 years - if I was younger I'd have a bid myself, I'd look at it as an opportunity or a bit of a challenge!
Even if you never got it going you'd learn a lot along the way. Oh and ... cough cough... I happen to have some Superdream spares.........
Come to think, I know someone else who might be interested in that so let me know if you decide not to bid.....

I take my first statement back.
I was actually thinking about getting something like this just to learn more about the bikes themselves.

It depends weather you want a real project or some thing that just needs a clean up it may look like a heap of sh!te now but imagine the satisfaction of getting it back to showroom condition.

David with a project that big you would learn more about bikes than you ever wanted to but i think that it would be beyond your budget

Don't worry. I don't know/too frightened to check or set the valve clearances on my CG nevermind take on a project like that.
(the valve clearances don't need done, but if they did then I'd probably get someone with more experience to do them for me.)

TBH I think it will be abit like triggers broom once you have finished renovating it.

Not much wrong with that bike by the looks of things!, I have taken on a lot worse than that as a project. Not a true auto thought as the hondamatic has a 2 gear selector but with no clutch. Im thinking that the fairing is a Rickman so that in itself would be worth a few quid if the bike was to be broken for parts.
who know's, i might just throw a couple of hundred quid in to the auction as i could do with something else to renovate over the winter months.

Yer its 5 miles up the road from me, so i could push it to mine
assuming the callipers arnet siezed, which i assume they are,
I could probably find a trailer for it.
if its still goin for 50 quid in a few hours i might throw a bid in
