We finally picked her up this morning! Had a bit of hassle getting her started at first, but luckily she was sat at blokeys work (car garage), so they put her on the rolling road - still no joy, decided to get a can of fuel, and we dumped the cruddy fuel out of the tank. A bit of fuel spilt - which was a funky rainbow colour But a plug clean later and she coughed and farted then burst into life.
Ignition barrel got sorted yesterday (thank god), the V5 checked out, VIN no. looked good, so all in all, after a bit of firkin around with the carb (making sure everything is squeaky clean) 300 quid for a 51 plate aint bad!! (I know i said earlier it was a 52 plate - dunno where I got that from )

So now have 1 happy b/f. in for his CBT thursday, so he's ever closer to getting back on a decent bike (god help us )

'tis a Gilera Coguar 125 (the first time I saw one I was absolutely positive someone had made the biggest spelling blunder of all time - but it's a Coguar)

Despite people saying spares are hard to get hold of it has a CG125 lump, and the b/f has tinkered with a few of those

I hate to say this and piss on yer bf's fire - but that has to be one of the ugliest bikes I've ever seen

and for a 125 cruiser they are pretty nippy from what i have heard

yeah, it aint pretty, but 300 quid with a years t&t couldnt give a smeg what it looks like

oi you lot it's 2 wheels!! you dont bleedin stop to admire it when yer goin to work/shoppin/having fun on it

the cost of B/F not knicking my bike anymore and us being able to hoon around like a couple of loons on our own bikes = priceless

But that has three wheels, of course it is ugly!!!!!

And as for the the £300 - job, great price; dodgy looks
