In a continuing quest to improve the back end of my SV, does anyone know where I can get a very small number plate light.. I have seen a couple of small round ones, but cannot find any suppliers.

2ndly whats the best way to paint and protect aliminium ?? I am making a ali bracket and want to get it coated in black.

Dont know about the light other than try your local car accessory shop as for your bracket probably best getting it powdercoated or try one of these plasticote spray paints (get them in b+q)

Isn't the original number plate light still there? Its usually these days an integral part of your tail light. You don't want to be pushing the number plate too far back or you will end up with clearance problems with the tyre and possible questions about trying to conceal it from speed cameras from HM's long arm of the law.
