My mate's thinking about one, either a 97 or 93, Iv'e never seen one in the metal before, dont think he has either, just know it as big bloody muscle bike. The only "muscle" bike he's had to my knowledge is an XJR1300.

Reckon Hammer will reply to this later - but at the moment he's in the land of Nod sleep3.gif lbhh.gif

Saw a J-plate one the other day. It looked pretty f**ked but sounded like a dinosaur farting. Other than that snippet I know nothing about them. I thank you...

They are a bike in there own class. awsum power. attitued like a bear kicked in th nuts.

Just don't ever expect to corner. this is there only real down point.

Bloke who used to lodge with us has a V-max, he loves it! He says it's rubbish about them not cornering - they don't do it on their own like a CBR, you just have to MAKE them do it!

The new ones look cr@p tho compared with the old ones - far too civilised! We used to call Lee's Max "The Beast"!

Very well explained. bowdown.gif

After riding mine through a few bends & corners, I feel exhausted. They are hard work, but you actually feel like you've ridden the thing, rather than been taken for an easy ride.

I'll keep mine now until either it, or I die. I love it.

The other thing to remember is Hammer is 400lbs and twelve feet tall, if he's knackered, it sounds like a bike anyone should treat with respect. ooh2.gif

Well Lee is about 5' 5" and weighs about 9 stone! The other person I know who totally loves their Max is a girl who's shorter than me!

There are so many after market goodies you can buy for the Vmax too.
Your mate might want to take a look at this.

I've always wanted one, but after actually sitting on one, it felt far smaller than I was expecting it too!!

The new ones don't have a fraction of the 'presence' of the older model IMO.
