Just ordered a load of parts for the CD175. Stuff like sprockets, chain, brake shoes, gaskets etc.........£90 all in all. And yes I did try Wemoto, patternparts.net etc.

Was just surprised cos it was £4 here £7 there. Blimey it comes to how much?????
I'll have to do some more work now to pay for it.

Expensive this biking thingy aint it!

Restoring old bikes is always expensive and no-one ever gets their money back - if you do it at all, it has to be for love of the bike and what you are doing. It's prolly less expensive in general than playing golf on a regular basis! But the money spent has to be counted in enjoyment value.

i have been grin.gif , even looked at the thread through 1 squinted eye with a reversed bathroom mirror..and half still dont add up ooh2.gif ...am i lookin at the wrong half?
