Hello I have been riding motorcycles now for 52 years and currantly ride a BMW R100T,a Enfield 350 and most of all a Yamaha T80 shaft drive moped similar to the Honda Cub, for a long time now the kick start lever slips as though the clutch is slipping, only, I may add when cold, it works fine for the rest of the day. the main drive clutch never slips not even on the steep hills here in Wales. So does any one know whether there is a secondary clutch or mechanism like rollers running up a ramp, on the KS mechanism, and where can parts be obtained , as the little gem has been out of production now for many years. fastfitter
Have you tried an oil change recently? Could be old oil, or just thickening up in the cold temps.

If you go here - they seem to list quite a lot of parts for the T80.
