Im planning a long trip next summer and was wondering if i should take a front and rear tube incase i get a puncture.

However, is there any other products that are as reliable ?

going with the 2 makes of bike listed under your avatar i take it one of thses will be your bike of choice, so im wondering why you would want to put a tube in a tubless tyre?

You can get (tubeles) puncture repair kits like the ones the AA use and mini tyre pumps via E-Bay. I carry both in my saddlebags but haven't needed to use them yet fcrossed.gif

tubless tyre is all very well when the tyre has no puncture !

tube would allow me to ride home or to nearest garage if i had a puncture, cheaply and easily.

i have heard of green goo being put into tyres and stuff just not sure of it !

how easy is the tubeless repair to do at the road side ?

no mate, its the other way around. tubeless is slow deflating and will take the green gunk stuff, tubed is fast deflating and the tyre has to be removed to repair the inner tube which would be a bit of a bastid at the roadside considering you have alloy wheels. wouldnt be a problem if you had the old style spoked wheels though but that would affect the tyre rating on your bike so i wouldnt advise fitting those.
riding on a deflated tubbed tyre, will only result in the tube scrunching up into a ball, it will probably rip and tear too..
Gunk or tyre weld can only be used in tubless tyres mate.

What about this stuff
