Been watching the series when i can, some nice stuff doin there, Jesse James does make a nice tank, i love watching it develop from a sheet of steel.

I have a mate who builds chops and bike frames "Blackjacks", he sits and shouts at them saying how they have done this wrong and that wrong.... "MUPPETS" he shouts, funny.. trades people always slag other trades people. (trades people.. very PC eh).

not my taste I have to say.

While I like a good chopper as much as the next man, I dislike the idea of having to use a telescope to see my front wheel...

Prefer the more compact chopper, as it were... A very nice exacmple of which I saw in Brighton today... Which I'd had my camera with me sad1.gif

Well seeing as i am the next man here, i have to say.... I dont swing that way actualy saint2.gif

I'm not normally a huge fan of choppers but those look good. There's a lot of imagination went into creating them and they are of course one offs. buttrock.gif

I don't the bikes - although i agree I wouldn't want to ride one any distance - do you guys get the discovery show on either of these two outfits across the pond? I really can't stand it... it has nothing to do with bike building even though they claim it does - all about fathers yelling at their kids... annoying.
oogachaka
Yeah, we do get it over here, like i say, i try to catch it when i can, i have not seen much of the orange county shows but i have seen lots of the westcoast ones, much more profesional than the father son outfit, i like the tattoo Jesse has on the palm of hiss hand!

(Ravinmadrider signed in as Oogachuka... duh!)

I've seen quite a few of the OCC ones. There's a good one about the commanche bike. They're going to a show and the engine screws up. In the end they had to get a bloke in with a cutting torch to cut away part of the engine that had seized. The bloke was trying to get a cog out with a hammer and chisel and kept hitting the frame. ooh2.gif I thought he was gonna get strung up. laughcont.gif

I think my fav was watch the OCC group try to build a swingset for their little cusion... Now that was an adventure... But again, it wasn't about bike building - of course part of my adversion might be the harley nature of the show, although I don't know that you could do either show without harleys - nobody soups up other bike brands the same way...

Sorry guys no input of value, but that chopper game is ace

we were talking about the show in another thread in useful links Tricked Up

I've seen most of the series, when we used to have cable and I don't like the style of bike (streetfighters are more my cup of tea), but as someone else said, I love the creativity that goes into them + they end up looking amazing!
+ it's quite cool to see the time + effort put into it + the thought process that goes into them.
ima
have to say i've seen every episode so far and thoroughly enjoyed them, ok it might not be about building choppers as such but it's been entertaining telly none the less.
ima
The new series started about 3 weeks ago and has been as entertaining as the last so far, paul snr and jnr are as daft as ever although paul jnrs girlfriend seems to have joined in the fun, pity she seems to have the brains of a mackerel though !!

Back on track- I keep meaning to watch it all the way thought but I keep missing it.
But I'm not a fan of Choppers anyway

How on earth do those guys at OCC get anything built. All they ever seem to do is argue shout and fight.

Just like my family really.
I loved the blues brother bike they built for the youngest son, is he called MIke, and then the tw** rides it on the roads even though he failed this American version of the CBT.

And what a picture when the police car was behind him......
Butcherboy
Agree with Ima, the old man is a real life caricature, barking mad and it'd be worth watchin if they were building lego houses or whatever. Quality stuff, makes me laugh a lot!
