i took my gpz305 for a little spin last night and i was finding alot of false neutrals, what could this be? im using the correct grade oil and its only part synthetic...

any ideas? cheers in advance!
Ian
When is this happening? Is it only between 1st and 2nd at slow speed or between all gears? The GpZ has a 'positive neutral finder' which means that at slow speeds changing down from 2nd to 1st it has a habit of finding neutral instead of first unless you are not so subtle on the gear lever.

Does your chain need adjusting?
I tend to have a real hard time with gears if the chain is getting to a very loose point.

its a belt drive and i only adjusted it about 200 miles ago... cool2.gif

I would double check that you've adjusted the belt properly making sure that everything is locked down and theres no oil or anything on the belt

yeah imm give it all the once over, when i got back last night it was abit late and dark to be fiddling around with my bike (as i dont have a garage or else i would have) - i will report back my findings.....might have to tighten the clutch cable who knows...

I get false neutrals on the GT when she needs an oil change.
