Evening all. After riding the Goose for a month or so now and going out on some runs I have started to notice that after a while my back and wrists start to ache. I didn't notice it before because I was smiling too much.

Anyway I'm looking for some new bars / bar raisers for the Goose.

Heres a couple of pics of my Yoke.

I had a look on ebay and saw a Goose with these bars

I asked him where he got them from but they were like that when he brought it.

There was another Goose on ebay about a week ago who had bar raisers on it when he brought it. They were about 2" and sat on top of the Yoke. He said on the listing that he was going to break the bike so i emailed him and he didn't get back to me.

I've taken some rough measurments and the widest point is 10.5" and its 1" thick with the deepest point about 3".

Will it be a case of finding some bars with these measurments that will hopefully fit?

They are USD forks and the 'clip-ons' sit under the yoke (if thats relevant)

Any ideas with what sites will be helpful.

Phil.

You'll need a new top yoke for that mate....yours don't have the wholes for the risers..

I know nothing about the sizes for the Goose, but will Yolks from similar sized bikes fit it (like the next engine size up from yours in the same style)?

Looking at that one from ebay, it has the original yoke on it.

Nope, the Goose is the only one. Only came in a 350.

You have plenty of meat on those yolks. You could machine them to take just about any riser.

I'll look into it some more and see what risers are around. Looks like I might need to get the drill out devil1.gif

That picture with the risers reminds me of a kit you can get for my Aprilia (wilbers is the make I think), maybe it's one of those kits.

Be aware though, the one for the Aprilia is bloody expensive; includes top yoke, bars, & longer brake line.

Cheers EB. I'll look into in some more.

I'm sure you could just VERY CAREFULLY measure up and drill your top yoke... I did this to mine and it was the best mod I ever did!!!

Looking at those tapped holes makes me think it's another top yoke turned upside-down or at least severley modified.

Measure your fork tubes, and the centres between all the holes on your yoke - then wander round bike showrooms doing a comparison, you might find something like a 600 Bandit will fit and their yokes are always turning up on E Bay.

thanks FF. Will measure it when I've got time.
