I think about going to the London bike shows (only one this year) every year but I never go.
Went to the NEC one about 4 years running till I started to wonder why........
I prefer to spend my free weekends at rallies now, they have some great bike shows and stalls and are a lot more fun.

I shall be there on the 31st Jan. I'm going there with a mate who also passed his test last year and he's on the look for some bargains. Not wanting to sound to blokey I'm just going to look at the bikes and any other nice sights there.

On the 27th TBC?
Can I join you guys then? It'd be brilliant to have a wander round without all the crowds. Just imagine all that peace & quiet!
Failing that, I'll probably crack & go on my only day off- Thurs 31st.

It should be better than last year as they split the Excel and Ally Pally shows this year there is only the Excel and next year the Ally Pally.
I paid £14 each + £1 online.
We should decide to wear something to recognise anyone from UK Bike?

I went yesterday (Thursday) between 4:30pm and 7pm. It looked the same as the NEC show to me (as you would probably expect), but on a smaller scale. Watched some of the MCN babes being interviewed then picked my jaw up from the floor had a walk around.
Never done a track day but would like to do one this year so purchased an Alpinestars "Stage" one-piece leather suit. £299.99. Very happy and really looking forward to using it
Had a word with the guy at the Universal Tyres stand. Believe he's the owner. They're the ones I buy my tyres from (user/store
RoundAndBlack on eBay) and are cheaper than anywhere else I've searched.
As far as bikes go, I like the look of the BMW HP2 Sport:

But at over £14,000 OTR I wouldn't buy one just yet. Would like to get a newer grey/silver R1 or maybe a GSX-R1000.

No, bit further along; George White Swindon.
BTW it's a hell of an easy bike to ride, as long as you've got a delicate touch in the right hand
