The Doncaster vetran club ( Plug Keith n' Roy my mates of many years inc wife's of course) are planning a trip next year to Belgium n' Brugge or around that area and possibly into Germany?

We were wondering if any of you out there have been there or around that area as some of you may have been to Assen for the racing and could you give us any info regarding cheaper ferry prices or do's n'donts,we will be looking for b/b over night not camping and was looking to see if there are any way of pre planning our over night accommadation in advance.

Roy n' Keith did spain this year and stayed in the formula 1 accommadations and found them great but as yet we cannot find even a map with any such accom or petrol stations ect so can anyone help us out with past exsperiances over there please..

I think TC runs a trip to Assen every year, so maybe he'll be able to pass on some info.

I've never been abroad on the bike but there's a coouple of us going to Andorra next year. I will be the touring virgin blush21.gif , so I'm relying on the other blokes to keep me right. One of the blokes that is going, has done quite a few trips, so we'll have a bit of experience with us. cool2.gif

I've never ridden on the wrong side of the road, not legally anyway, the thought of it scares the beejesus out of me.

But someone mentioned a tour of the WW I & II battlefields and cemetaries next year and I'm thinking of going along to pay my respects.

Its not as daunting as it may seem. I did my first continental tour this year riding through France, Belgium, Germany Luxembourg, Austria and Italy. Never had a problem with riding on the right but you do need to keep a good eye on your mirrors if you hit any motorways.
