People.

Now I've had the weekend to get used to my new SV650S I'm finding that the handlebar grips feel smaller than on my Varadero and hurt my hands after a while. cry.gif Can you buy replacement grips for this bike which are a larger diameter or is there a special tape I can use to wind around the grips to make them larger and a bit more spongy?

I bought some new grips for my bike, although they are really hard plastic, you may not want that?

Try ebay?

You can get replacement grips- or you can buy slip-ons that go over the existing grips (I saw them once but can't for the life of me remember were).

If your after a tape to wrap around- then ones used for tennis rackets are probably the easiest ones to find.

Halfords or any cycle shop will do that sort of tape, but it doesn't add much in thickness. MrL tried it on the MV for the same reason. In fact you can have what's left of it if you want. PM me if you want to try it.

Try M and P, MPS or Busters on the net.

I once bought sponge slip ons which soften the grips for a rattly BSA that I had.
