I've just ordered one of these:
http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/helmet-camera...g4-recorder.htm
The first package in the list, I've also ordered an additional power kit to power the recorder and the cam from my bike battery but I'm a little concerned about this as it draws 12V and I don't know what the regulator kicks out. I might have to buy a beefier battery and altinator to get this lot working for a couple weeks at a time.

I'll keep you updated.

Hope you added the suction mount to mate, their a must have to combat bike vibrations

Small point but the volts doesnt really determine how much juice it draws, its the amps*. You do need to make sure the volts match though. The bike produces 12 volts and if the device was less it would get fried, if the device was more it would get powered.

* technically Power = Volts * Amps but we cant vary the volts due to the above.

Oh and just looked at the link and a 100mA draw is nothing, a single taillight bulb is around 1750mA.
